Hello!

I am a wife to my husband Scott and mommy to two beautiful children, Annie and Teddy. Along with two four-legged friends, a dog and cat.

I graduated from Grand Valley State University (Go Lakers!) in 2011 with a Bachelors of Science in Photography. After working as a graphic designer the opportunity to finally start my own photography business came!

So here I am!

 Why photography? That is a great question! I love capturing that quick second that would otherwise be missed and forgotten. I love seeing the sparkle in children's eyes as we play around on the ground and giggle while I press the shutter.  I also love that shy vulnerable side that arrives at the sight of my camera and the challenge to bring out their personality in photos. I love having a family gather around each other to laugh and show their love and appreciation because you never know what tomorrow will bring. Those are beautiful moments and are easily forgotten or taken away. I want to be apart of remembering those even if it's just for a few short minutes. ​
